Pubs and Bars in Ipswich
From stylish waterfront bistros and authentic global independents to traditional Suffolk pubs and quirky bars, Ipswich really does have something for all taste buds.
No good meal comes without a delicious drink, so make sure to taste one of Suffolk’s local tipples while on holiday, such as Adnams ale, beer from St Peter’s Brewery, Aspalls cyder, or wine from Wyken Vineyards.
We are an informal bistro style restaurant set in an oldie worldly 16th century country pub. We are extremely proud of our great food, great service and great value. We feel we offer an extensive modern menu that caters from children through to fussy eaters and the grandparents.
From classic British carvery to legendary pub favourites, our food is fresh, hot, and served daily. There’s something here for all the family, whether you’re bringing Nan and Grandad, fussy teenagers, or toddlers and little ones. Our drinks range is just as brilliant.
We are a popular pub on the outskirts of Ipswich town centre, opposite Christchurch Park and within walking distance of Ipswich Museum, the Wolsey Theatre and Portman Road.
